Abstract
Phonon images obtained by the phonon-drag effect in two-dimensional electron systems have been investigated both theoretically and experimentally beginning with the experiments of Dietsche and co-workers.1 But there is also growing interest in the study of the electronic structure and properties of (quasi-) one-dimensional electron gases (lDEG) in which the electron gas is free to move in only one direction and is confined in the other two.2,3
