Abstract

This article is intended to provide an introduction to the beam instrumentation systems and the precision timing system of the SSC Laboratory. The Beam Instrumentation Department of the SSC Accelerator Systems Division is responsible for the design of these systems for the Collider rings and the injector accelerators. Status and plans are briefly described.
