The Sharp Lepton Problem and the C(Q0?) Scenario

Abstract

The Quadronium Conjecture and the Composite Particle (Qo?) Scenario which it supports for the “(e+e-) Puzzle”, are reviewed. They conform to Occam’s razor and offer a place for every major qualitative feature observed so far. In the process, it suggests a new kind of “Supercomposite” molecule state in which the neutral polarizable composite particle is bound to nuclear ion, and predicts thereby four new, so far unobserved, decay modes. One, Sharp Annihilative Positron Emission (SAPosE), provides in its inverse process of Recoilless Positron Absorption (RePosA) a key to understanding the very sharp lepton lines observed to follow β + irradiation of heavy atoms. These emerge as just another aspect of the same C(Q 0?) scenario. Thus, the “(e+e-) Puzzle” is generalized into the expanded “Sharp Lepton Problem”.
