Abstract

This is a topic that is far wider and more demanding than might first appear, and one which involves more than one clause of the standard. The prime requirement of clause 4.9 is to plan the production, installation and servicing and to carry them out under controlled conditions, including adequate procedures to manage the situation when things go wrong, and to provide for adequate distribution of the products.
