Abstract

Statistical Quality Control (SQC) is a method for ensuring product quality. Quality means conformance to customer requirements and specifications. Customers may be internal or external. External customers buy the company’s products. Internal customers add value to work in process (WIP). Each manufacturing operation is a customer of the preceding one and a supplier to the following one.
