Abstract
We read in the Treccani Encyclopedic Dictionary that Epistemology is the sector of Philosophy which “studies the nature and the value of scientific knowledge”, with the purpose to carry on “a critical investigation of the form and the logical structure of science” independently of the content of individual sciences.
