Biochemical Changes Induced by Maharishi Amrit Kalash (MAK-4) and MA-208 in Diet-Induced Hypercholesterolemic Rabbits
Free radicals and reactive oxygen species (ROS) are involved in the pathogenesis of various disorders, including atherosclerosis, which could possibly be prevented by the use of antioxidant substances.1 MAK-4 and MA-208 are antioxidant herbal mixtures. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the in vivo antioxidant properties of MAK-4 and MA-208 in diet-induced hypercholesterolemic rabbits.
