Recognizing Wilson’s Disease is the number one challenge facing Wilson’s disease patients and their physicians today, and this chapter is designed to help clinician’s recognize the possible (or likely) diagnosis and help these patients. All too often recognition and diagnosis are greatly delayed, if they occur at all. It is indeed unfortunate that so many patients are beset with major clinical problems and neither the doctor nor the patient have the faintest clue as to the real underlying diagnosis.
