Abstract

In this chapter we will be dealing first with life-threatening risk factors that occur during maintenance therapy, and second with long-term prognosis. One area I will not be dealing with is risk and prognosis associated with acute hepatic failure, primarily an issue at initial presentation, which were discussed in Chapter 6.
