Abstract
The “World Organisation of Systems and Cybernetics” (in short WOSC) is a federation of associations or institutions concerned with systems or cybernetics, and, for the sake of requisite variety, it has two official languages: English and French. Son nom dans cette dernière langue est “Organisation Mondiale pour la Systémique et la Cybernétique”. Its logo represents schematically the Watt’s governor, which gives a classical example of negative feedback in engineering as well as a symbol of many kinds of regulations we can observe in living systems and in other fields of science.
