Abstract

Psoriasis is a disease that is unique to man. Therefore no suitable animal models are yet available, despite the advent of transgenic animals that have raised hopes for such an eventuality. Further, as there is no good in vitro model, e.g., a cell culture system, that can replace the in vivo situation in studying medications for psoriasis, screening methods are needed in order to find drugs for the treatment of topical psoriasis
