Abstract

The six main logistics processes at the operational level were introduced in Chapter 3 (Section 3.5). These processes (or functions) are:

  1. (1)

    Force accumulation,

  2. (2)

    Logistics deployment in the theater of operations,

  3. (3)

    Management and control of the logistics flow,

  4. (4)

    Medical treatment and evacuation,

  5. (5)

    Prioritization,

  6. (6)

    Logistics forecasting.
