Abstract
Our purpose in writing this book was to survey the landscape of topics that are related to the field of economics of science and technology. This survey is based on historical and applied perspectives, all within the context of what we refer to as the entrepreneurial process. We hope that this overview will guide students who wish to pursue further research on these topics, and as well will be a source of information for policymakers as they contemplate the bigger picture.
