Abstract

The Japanese government has a licensing law, which regulates practitioners in the real estate business. A licence is required in order to conduct real estate brokerage. Each real estate sales office must have at least one licensed broker per five employees. The licensed brokers are responsible for 1) the explanation of the material considerations of the real estate for sale, and 2) the completion of documents used in the sales and leases negotiated by people in their firm.
