Abstract
In analyzing and testing unexplored areas of health services management research in which theories have not yet matured, exploratory statistical analysis (ESA) gives researchers a wide variety of possibilities. Researchers should be open to unforeseen discoveries, especially in the case of weak theories that specify only that variables are related to each other (Hartwig and Dearing, 1979).
