Abstract

Most Israelis live in urban areas. Globally, agriculture is rapidly decreasing, only 4% of the world’s population in developed countries are actively engaged in agriculture. Thus, the natural environment of the world’s population have become urban. This migration has not necessarily improved their quality of life. The Talmud states that city life is difficult (Babylonian Kthuboth, 110b, see Section 12.1 introductory quotation).
