Abstract

The processing of double-base rocket propellants includes significant thermal and mechanical loads on the material at all steps. The molecular mass distribution (MMD) of the polymeric base in such formulations is to a great extent responsible for their properties. Changes in the MMD convey important information on the influence of the processing steps.
