Abstract
Aggression among children and adolescents has been common throughout history and continues to be a major problem today. Neighborhoods and communities cannot be healthy for child development, nor can schools be effective institutions of learning, if they are not first and foremost safe. Yet young people face serious problems of aggression and victimization in their lives that may result in many missed opportunities for growing up as healthy young people.
