Abstract
Chapter 1 presented e-business environments from the perspective of management theories and models, and infrastructure. This chapter presents e-business from the perspective of management and deployment of e-business. The discussion starts with the multidisciplinary nature of e-business. This is followed by the four key areas concerning the deployment and management of e-businesses, namely people, organization, processes and technology.
