Abstract
Various types of convexity for functions were defined related to various notions of convexity for sets. The reason of this correspondence is in the behaviour of the graph of the function or of a region of the space related to this graph. Even if the aim of this book is not to study convexities for functions, we dedicate this chapter to some classes of convex functions related to some above discussed convexities for sets, in order to prepare the results contained in the chapters dealing with applications in mathematical programming. Also, we give some interesting models of construction of some generalisations of convex functions.
