Abstract
Being “so sleepy that one can hardly keep their eyes open” is a common condition in everyday life, most often associated with sleep loss or deprivation. Here is a highlight of information expected to be part of a sleep practitioner’s knowledge base as well as specific examples of how topics in this area could be taught and then assessed for competency.
