Abstract
Sleep Medicine requires multidisciplinary training. Its future will depend on a sustained effort in adding value at all levels through postgraduate training and continuing education. To establish value of and outcomes for clinical Sleep Medicine, fellowship programs are requested by the ACGME to rapidly develop educational sophistication to formatively assess competency for sleep trainees.
