Abstract
This chapter is intended to provide an overview of fundamentals of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). They are one of the most commonly prescribed medications, with an estimated 70 million number of prescriptions written annually written and $6.8 billion spent worldwide.
