Abstract
A spectacular comet can be one of the most beautiful objects in the sky. It’s gorgeous tail (or tails) can stretch quite a way across the sky. The fleeting but spectacular apparition of Comet Hyakutake (C/1996 B2) in 1996 was seen with the head close to Polaris and the tail reaching right down into Coma Berenices. A beautiful sight indeed.
