Two-Sample Means

Building off the methods for the one-sample case covered in Chapter 6, it is natural to extend those ideas to cases where there are two samples. However, we run into the fact that there are two different cases where we are interested in comparing the means from two samples. The first is the case where we have two distinct groups of subjects, meaning that any subject providing a measurement in one group is prohibited from providing a measurement in the other group.
