Abstract

This chapter will outline the physiological effects of a musculoskeletal injury on a patient. It will highlight the important aspects that a surgeon should be aware when treating musculoskeletal injury. Furthermore, the chapter will break down the assessment and treatment of the various components of the musculoskeletal injury. It will also highlight the common complications that can be seen with musculoskeletal injuries.
