Abstract

Total laryngectomy remains the procedure of choice for definitive treatment of life-threatening aspirations. A Zenker’s diverticulum is located above the upper esophageal sphincter at Killian’s triangle (between cricophargyngeal sphincter and inferior pharyngeal constrictor muscle).
