Odontogenic Cysts and Tumors

Abstract

Dentigerous cysts are the most common odontongenic cysts and arise from the dental follicle. Keratocysts have a high rate of recurrence and most commonly occur in the mandible. Ameloblastomas are the most common of odontogenic tumors.
