Abstract
The Stanford Solar Center’s SuperSID monitor provides an excellent introduction to the fascinating hobby of radio astronomy, especially for those who do not have much space, as the antenna needed for the SuperSID monitor doesn’t need to be placed high up. No antenna mast is needed, and the antenna will work perfectly well at ground level, either indoors or outdoors. In fact an indoor antenna can work very well.
