Abstract
Clinical neuroscience involves the assessment of emotional and cognitive processing, and its relation to the brain. Results are interpreted as a gauge of neurological integrity. Understanding differences in neuroscience functioning due to cultural and linguistic factors is necessary for accurate interpretation of neuropsychological data. This chapter will provide a primer on research techniques in neuroscience and discussion of results from findings of fMRI studies, including functional neuroanatomy and the impact of bilinguialism.
