Abstract
GEOMORPHIC SETTING: Malletts Creek watershed is 11-square miles in area; the creek flows into the Huron River. The watershed lies primarily in an urban area. During the last 40 years, the watershed has been extensively developed with shopping malls, new subdivisions, parking lots, etc. About 37 % of the land is covered with impervious surfaces.
