Definition
Administrative procedure is a set or system of rules that govern the procedures of public bodies for managing organizing bureaucratic actions inside bureaucracies and in their interactions with private parties. These procedures are generally meant to establish efficiency, consistency, responsibility, and accountability.
Introduction
In all industrialized societies, there is a tension between market and interventionist system of economic organization. The latter one is the system where state seeks to direct or encourage behavior which would not occur without such an intervention. The aim of such an intervention is to correct perceived or real market failures in meeting collective or public interest goals. Such goals are generally pursued by a plethora of executive and legislative branches of governments. In this respect, modern law and economics analysis of public law divides into two strings of work.
