Abstract
The posterior approach to the hilum of the liver provides excellent exposure of the Glissonian Sheaths and their contained structures. Clearly, if a bile duct stricture is encountered, excellent exposure is paramount in repairing such strictures, and the use of the posterior approach for this purpose is described briefly herein.
