Abstract
Ethnic disparities in oocyte donation outcome have only been addressed by two groups. Clearly, not enough attention has been accorded to this important topic, which can help delineate whether the lower success noted in several ethnic minorities compared to Caucasians is related to oocyte quality. Larger studies are clearly needed to evaluate whether a racial disparity exists when using a donor oocyte model, and, if such disparities do exist, evaluate and treat the possible culprits to optimize outcome.
