Abstract
Chronic total occlusions (CTOs) of the iliac arteries represent a challenge to the peripheral vascular interventionalist. Successful recanalization of these TASC C and D lesions has improved over the last several years, partly due to improved techniques and equipment, including stent grafts, reentry devices, and embolic protection devices. Using a case-based approach, this chapter provides a step-by-step method for successful percutaneous treatment of iliac artery CTOs.
