Using the Telescope; Its Later Renovations

Abstract

The method of use of the telescope—in its original form—is fully described, together with a discussion of the optical accessories available to the astronomer. The later modifications of the 1950s and 1960s are described, in particular when the observing platform was replacing by a moving floor.
