Abstract
We have discovered our place in the universe. Voyager 1 and 2 have reached points so far from the Sun that they are able to detect the spectral line of atomic hydrogen. It is something we have detected in other galaxies but never before in our own because of the smothering effect of the solar wind. That measurement is a sign of our belonging to the Milky Way.
