Abstract
Our eleventh observation deepens our acquaintance with the variety of stars. It also extends our knowledge of galaxies, taking us to some of the tantalizing nebulae that lie along the banks of Eridanus, the constellation of the River. Eridanus wanders from beneath Orion’s feet deep into southern skies. It provides some interesting observing challenges and has been the setting for some extraordinary science. It was in this constellation that we thought to hear the voice of intelligent life beyond our planet.
