Abstract
The phrase “throwing good money after bad” can be all too relevant when developing new engineering. Although it is possible to bring new technologies and concepts to an organization, there is no guarantee that they will be implemented. All too often, a new machine is bought only to collect dust.
I have not the slightest hesitation in making the observation that much of British management doesn’t seem to understand the importance of the human factor.
