Handbook of Assessing Variants and Complications in Anxiety Disorders

Abstract

Obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD) is marked by several dysfunctional neuropsychological performance domains. This chapter reviews further specific functional neuropsychological domains and expected behavioral limitations associated with these areas. These functional domains are broadly categorized based on executive functioning, working memory, and memory confidence. The chapter also considers each of these areas in childhood OCD.
