Abstract

This chapter provides a general introduction for students including guidelines for participation. It shows several suggested lab report formats including an industrial memo and executive summary. There are guidelines for reporting statistical results, using tables and graphs. Common problems in lab reports show students problems to avoid and check. An appendix shows a sample report in industrial memo format.
