Abstract
Qi is energy equivalent that runs through the acupuncture points of the body. These acupuncture points are used for gathering, exporting, and converting the Qi flow. Stimulation of the points can facilitate Qi circulation, balance the yin and yang, and promote health in the body. This chapter will discuss these points in relation to one another (meridians) and the methods of measurement employed to locate them on the body.
