Abstract
Acupuncture has been shown useful for treating symptoms and illness associated with chest pain. Common acupuncture points are described.

Mainly use PCÂ 6 (Neiguan) , LUÂ 5 (Chize) , RNÂ 17 (Danzhong) , and BLÂ 15 (Xinshu) for treatment of chest pain . For stabbing chest pain, which is fixed and without movement, add BLÂ 14 (Jueyinshu) , BIÂ 17 (Geshu) , and LRÂ 3 (Taichong) . For chest tightness with pain, or pain throughout chest and back, add BLÂ 13 (Feishu) , STÂ 40 (Fenglong) , and RNÂ 12 (Zhongwan) . For weakness with chest pain throughout the back, which will be more severe when it is cold, add BLÂ 14 (Jueyingshu) and PCÂ 4 (Ximen).
