Abstract
This chapter lists the spectrum of sexual disorders and the suggested categories of clinical classification systems ICD-10 and DSM-IV which are, however, purely descriptive concepts which fail to do justice to the complexity of human sexuality. In particular, the actual reason for suffering all too frequently lies not only in the disturbed sexual function but moreover in the disturbance of partnership comfort as a whole. Without clinically significant distress, the criteria of a disorder to be treated are not met.
