Abstract

Modern engineering applications dealing with antennas, scatterers and microwave circuits are requiring the solutions of problems with hundred millions of unknowns. This chapter presents some recent developments on Domain Decomposition Methods (DDM) and especially Finite Element Tearing and Interconnecting (FETI) techniques for solving large scale finite element problems encountered in electromagnetic applications.
