Website Analysis of Top 100 Most Valuable Companies in Romania
There exists today a wide range of sites on the Web, from personal to content oriented, and from academic to purely commercial websites, and certainly others will appear in the near future. Unfortunately, so many websites cannot capture the attention and interest of visitors/customers, many of the existing websites being poorly designed. The main purpose of this study is to identify the best designed website in the top 100 most valuable companies in Romania. Due to their nature, the criteria and the number of awarded points were valued according to a subjective basis, as described in papers of Gálfi et al.  and Kovács et al. . On the one hand, as we will see, there is little or no connection between the company’s position in the top and the quality of their website. On the other hand, the analyzed websites are far from perfection, and we would recommend that the administrators and/or webmasters pay more attention to pages design and upgrading frequency.
