Now that you have an idea of all of the equipment you will need in order to perform astronomical imaging, it is time to start talking about the process itself. This chapter will present an overview of what a typical imaging session is like and how to plan for it. Each step in the process will be touched on here and where a more robust explanation is required those topics will be covered in more depth later.
