Abstract
In this section we describe the overall architecture of the system built for the project. It diagrams the general data flow, illustrating how the anonymous test users and evaluators are able to use the system to submit text documents for analysis and view and evaluate the results. The hardware specifications for the servers used to run the text analysis system is outlined. The chapter also covers the modifications made to the SentiGrade™ engine and provides a detailed description of the changes made to the standard SentiMetrix©, Inc. web services application program interface (API) to support the project’s needs. A detailed description of the SentiMetrix© project-specific dashboard is provided, outlining the rationale behind the visualization approach chosen, and explaining the drill-down capabilities made available to the evaluators.
