Abstract
The presented protocol for superoxide radical in vivo quantification in fungal tissues is based on the quantification of 2-hydroxyethidium (2-OH-E+) after its isolation and fluorometric quantitation. The protocol is ultrasensitive (i.e., <1 pmol) and applicable to any kind of fungal tissue; it can also be used for in vitro studies.
