Abstract

Laparoscopic adrenalectomy is now the standard approach to adrenal tumors, including pheochromocytoma, adrenal Cushing syndrome, and aldosteronoma. This chapter reviews adrenal anatomy and indications for laparoscopic adrenalectomy. Detailed description of operative approaches, including lateral transabdominal and retroperitoneal endoscopic adrenalectomy, is provided.
